RP Style: Third Person Storybook

Characters: Jack Smack (Private Line) / Sir Christus (Ex-Negative)

NOTE I play Jack in this scene.

Setting: A Rehab Clinic

Brief Description: After nearly overdosing after what Jack considered the worst fight in his and Christus’ relationship, Jack reluctantly went to rehab after Christus his favorite drug-buddy decided they needed to get clean.

Feeling rather depressed and alone after having what could only be described as the worst fight in his and Christus relationship, Jack ran out of the small slightly run down apartment they shared. He couldn't face the man he loved more than anything, though would likely never admit, when he really had no idea what they were fighting about in the first place though he figured it was likely Christus wanting to stay sober for the night since that was usually what their fights were about. Deciding he didn't need another father to yell at him, Jack simply left for every place he knew he could get a fix or two.

Returning to their home several hours later, Jack somehow managed to get himself inside and on the couch, though how he would have no memory of actually returning home. He had absolutely no idea when Christus came home or if he was already home when he found Jack's body half on the couch half off, smelling like something one would find in a sewer. Jack didn't remember having his stomach pumped nor did he remember being checked into a rehab clinic.

All Jack knew was that when he woke up, however long he slept, he wasn't sure, was that every inch of his body hurt. He felt like his eyes were burning before he even opened them and like this throat was torn to shreds. Knowing better than to cry out, jack attempted to curl up against Christus figuring the man was next to him, like he always was. Realizing he couldn't move, Jack began to cry, though he’d deny it if anyone ever asked or said anything.

He felt more alone now than ever and had no idea why he was restrained had no idea why he couldn't smell Chris' favorite sent next to him, why everything was so different and bright. Figuring he wasn't in their apartment Jack wondered just what kind of trouble he had gotten himself into. "Christus," he whispered softly wanting the other Finn with him more than anything.

After seeing Jack checked into the rehab clinic, Christus had gotten permission from the Doctors and Nurses that ran the facility, to stay in the room with the dark haired Finn until he woke up. Though he would never admit it, at least not to Jack, he loved the man. Had been completely and totally in love with him since they had first met. Granted, he could blame Jack for getting him into more trouble than he cared to remember and most certainly would not mention to another living soul. He could also blame the man for getting them both hooked on the liquid poison that had nearly taking his pretty little junkie from him. No matter the evils and vices he could lay the blame for at the mans feet, he still loved him beyond question.

Hearing the soft whisper of his name, he turned to the man laying on the bed. Glaring at the restraints once more, he laced his fingers with Jack's as he held his hand tightly. "I'm here." He murmured, though said no more as he wasn't too sure that he could without having a bit of a anger breakdown. He had fought the Doctors like a banshee over Jack being restrained, but it had all been to no avail. He was a junkie, that much was apparent by the visible tracks on his arms. They were not taking any chances with the man, he would be restrained until the poison had deteriorated out of his system.

Sighing sadly, Christus leaned over the rails of the bed to bury his face into Jack's neck, lightly kissing the soft skin. He had begged to be allowed to stay with the man through the worst of his withdrawals, but once again his request had been denied. Finally, in a last ditch effort to stay near to the man he loved, he had agreed to check himself into the same rehabilitation clinic once the man woke and was lucid again. He was under strict orders to call for a nurse immediately when the man woke, but of course he wasn't about to follow that instruction as he wanted what little time he could get with the man.

Keeping his eyes closed to block out the harsh light coming from somewhere, though he had no idea where, Jack turned his head towards Christus. He wanted the man to make everything better again, Chris always did. He had been Jack’s rock whenever he needed grounded throughout their relationship. He knew something was wrong, just as he knew that Christus was mad at him.

He didn’t want to upset or worry Christus when he left, at least he didn’t think he had. He couldn’t remember, but he was sure at some point Chris would tell him. “I’m sorry.” He whispered softly, though he knew his simple apology was not nearly enough. “Will you turn off the lights?” he asked though buried his head against Christus as much as he could, he figured the man was trying to teach him a lesson, though why, he had no idea. He knew that any other time it would likely be Christus in his position.

"Do not be sorry. You are alive, that is all that matters to me." Christus murmured. Glaring at the door, shrugged as he got out of his chair, climbed over the guard rail and into the bed with Jack. Though he knew he could not release the restraints that held the man, he could at least snuggle with him until they kicked him out and he found himself in another bed in the clinic, restrained as well, without Jack's comfort.

Reaching up as much as the restraints would allow, which truthfully wasn’t much, Jack placed his hands on Christus’ hips, trying to hold him as well. Christus’ words meant the world to him. He had been doubting their love for some time now, since he wasn’t really sure the man loved him, or loved him for what he could get them. Slowly opening his eyes so he could look at Chris, Jack quickly realized he wasn’t in the comfort of home, freaking out slightly, Jack let go of Christus and tried to pull away, though he quickly realized it was impossible. “Where the fuck am I?”

"You are in the drug rehabilitation clinic. You nearly overdosed right on our couch. It is time for a change, Jack." Christus whispered, his voice soft as he tried to hide his emotions, to keep his voice as neutral as possible because he didn't want Jack to know just how upset he was with their current situation and the predicament they had both gotten into. "Please calm down? I do not want you to hurt yourself any more than you already have." He murmured, pressing a soft kiss to the mans lips as he curled up to the warmth of his body. "Let me hold you while I can? Please?"

Having really no option to move or do anything at the moment, other than to listen to Christus, Jack let out a heavy sigh, “I didn’t. I’m still here, still breathing, I can get better at home. I already know I don’t want to be here.” Jack pouted simply because he knew this wasn’t going to be a good idea. He had been down this road before, a few times, and it never worked in the past. “Hold me why you can? What do you mean? Don’t leave me, please. I don’t want to be alone in here. I’ll just get myself out. I’m smart enough like that.”
